Easter 2009

The Easter bunny came to visit Savannah and he gave her some new teeth...yes, that's right...more teeth! At the moment she has 2 teeth on the bottom and more are trying to break through. We knew something was wrong when she was constantly fussy Friday night...normally she is laughing, talking and yelling at the dogs. Make a long story short...Savannah received Tylenol and teething tablets from the Easter Bunny. I promise, next year will be different...we'll get her some sugar coated Peeps. Saturday after we went to the Downtown Market and loaded up on some local fresh veggies, we decided to go to the park and take some pictures of Savanna in her MANY Easter outfits...here are some of the pictures.

Stinker!

My favorite picture of the day, Savannah and Chris. She LOVES her Daddy! Her first word was Da da da...sometimes it sounds like Die die die. Whatever it sounds like, it sure sounds adorable coming from her little mouth...she has the cutest little voice, except when she yells at herself in the mirror. She's going to be a PISTOL!

Easter pictures with Eli & Brody

Last weekend, we decided to take some photos of the kiddos for Easter. It was quite the little adventure for many reasons: 1) They were on a severe sugar rush from eating Brody's birthday cake. 2) None of them had taken naps. However the pictures turned out absolutely perfect. Here are some of the pictures we took.

Tennessee Trip

This past week, Nana, Savannah and I took little trip to Tennessee to visit my best friend, Amanda and her family in Nashville. We had a BLAST! It was such an awesome trip, we shopped, ate, ate, shopped, kissed on babies, changed diapers, ate, shopped, changed diapers, ate and we managed to sleep a bit. Here are some pictures from our visit. Below is Amanda and I before we tore up a yummy burger from Red Robin.

Trip to Uncle Snap's Horse Farm in Alabama

Savannah, Nana and I recently took a mini-vacation to North Alabama to visit my dear friends at their farm. We had so much fun and it was really nice to see Royce and Mary George again. It has been almost 3 years since we last saw each other, so needless to say, we had lots to catch up on. When we arrived Wednesday afternoon/night, Mary George spoiled us with a gourmet dinner. We sat around and enjoyed the beautiful weather that night and the next day. Once again, Mary George cooked a delicious breakfast, then we went on a walk around the farm. There is nothing like spending time with friends that are almost like family. We had a blast! Thanks Uncle Snap and Mary George for an awesome visit...we hope to see you soon! Here are some of the pictures from our visit.

7 months and growing like a weed!

This past weekend was absolutely beautiful so we decided to spend the entire weekend outside. On Friday, Aunt Lori, Uncle Steve and Brody came to see us...we went shopping, ate lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant and then more shopping. Then when Chris got home, he cooked a MEAN steak (it was YUMM-O)! Saturday morning, we all got up, ate breakfast, played around for a little bit and then headed to our annual crawfish boil. They had live music, all the food you could ever ask for and lots of sunshine! After the festivities, we came home, took naps and then headed to the park by the house. There was the most amazing breeze blowing that you didn't know you were getting a farmer's tan! Yep, I look like a dorky farmer with my tan lines. Here are some photos that we took at the park..Savannah loved touching and eating the grass. Then on Sunday, Chris and Papa went to play golf while Meme and I went shopping. Savannah was such a good girl, she is a great shopper...I taught her young! Last weekend, we bought new bikes and took Savannah on her first bike ride...it was a HOOT. She didn't know what to think about it, but she enjoyed it. This coming week, we are headed to Alabama to visit some friends the bought a horse farm and then off the Tennessee to visit some more friends...it's gonna be a great vacation with great friends and great family!

Our baby girl is 6 months old!

Whew! I can't believe that Savannah is already 6 months old. I can't begin to tell you how much fun we are having with little Savy. She's changing everyday and we love to see her explore with her eyes, hands and recently her VOICE! She loves her exersaucer that Nana & Papa gave her for Christmas...it makes lots of noise and therefore she gets lots of attention! Last week, during her 6 month birthday, she was vomiting. Yep, that's right, our sweet baby girl had a viral infection...then we found out that all of the vomiting aggravated her reflux, so now she's on Zantac, which seems to be working (thank goodness!). She was back to her normal self on Sunday, so we ventured out of the house (mainly because we were all going BONKERS in this house!) We took Savannah for her first trip to the Junior Museum. We had the most fun watching her check out all the animals...it's was her first time seeing horses, turkeys (kinda funny that they would have turkeys at the museum.). Florida Panthers, snakes, deer, foxes, black bears, some weird exotic barking deer from China...etc. etc. etc. We took some great photos during our visit, but posting all of them would take me forever, so I picked 2 of my favorites. We are so blessed to have this little girl in our lives, she has changed our lives in ways we can't describe! She is our EVERYTHING!
She loves riding on her Daddy's shoulders. I love it when she leaves a big glob on drool in his hair. The love I have in my heart for these two stinkers in undescribable...my cup runneth over.

Uncle Larry's lakehouse December 2008

Over the Christmas holidays, we went home and chilled with the family at my brother's house on the lake. It was an amazing day and we had tons of fun playing around the lake, riding the four wheeler and roasting marshmellows by the fire. Uncle Larry has the coolest house! Here are some random photos that we took during our visit.
